# TP Notify

**How to use TP Notify to your own scripts?**

You can use the specified event anywhere you want, just make sure you are having an image to call at `tp_notify/html/img/types`  directory folder.

```lua

--- @param title - requires a string
--- @param message - requires a string
--- @param icon - requires a string (icon name directly from the mentioned path above)
--- @param notificationType - requires a string ("success", "error", "info")
--- @param duration - requires an integer value (time is in seconds and not in milliseconds).
TriggerEvent("tp_notify:sendNotification", "Mailbox Notification", "This is a notification", "mail", "info", 15)
```

This event is client-sided, in case you are interested to call it from Server > Client, use `TriggerClientEvent` instead and add as first parameter the `source`.
